Let’s be real for a second, our world has become so devoured by technology that most of us rely pretty heavily on it. I’m not even going to lie. I need it. If I was off in cabin in the middle of nowhere with no cell reception or wifi I would probably loose my mind and not know what to do with myself. I decided to make a list of my diehard favorite apps (excluding the obvious Facebook & Instagram)
Waze: I literally have no sense of direction and could not get around without a map in general. But, Waze my friends is my lifesaver. I spend about a hour minimum (each way) in traffic to get from home to work and vice versa. The total trek is about 13 miles. Yeah, traffic is intense here. This bad boy diverts you around traffic as live updates are entered by other drivers. It’s the Holy Grail.
Amazon Prime: By now, everyone loves and uses Prime religiously. If you don’t have prime, bet your sweet ass you have a family member that does and you use their account religiously! You just can’t beat some of the sweet finds on there for cheap with free 2-day shipping? Yes, please! This is where I get most of my books for under $10 whereas they’d be $20 at Barnes & Noble.
Ibotta: I mentioned this app in the Bitches on a Budget post and it still rings true. It’s free money. So, why not?
FreePrints: If you know me, then it is no secret that I LOVE photos. The second you walk into my tiny apartment, you are greeted with frames hung up everywhere and a few scrapbooks. For me, it is just extremely important to document those memories and keep them around for future generations like my grandparents and parents did for me. Free Prints does exactly what the name implies – sends you a ton of free prints each month and all you pay is the shipping cost.
