My new books came in! Literally my best day of the month and I can’t wait to read them all. So let’s get into it.

The Forgotten Girls by Sara Blaedel – This book is a #1 international bestseller that was initially distributed in Denmark and recently moved to distribution in the States. Basically, a women’s body is found in a forest and no one knows what happened and it turns out the girl has a twin that is also dead. This detective starts digging into what happens and discovers a link between her own childhood and the missing girls in the forest.

Into the Water by Paula Hawkins – I have heard so many wonderful things about this book. Paula Hawkins also wrote The Girl on the Train which I absolutely loved and she is a New York Times bestselling author. Should be mentioned that Into the Water, is also being made into a movie. Which is why I am not waiting to read it. Long story short, Girl on the Train is one of my all time favorites so I am sure this will be full of twists/turns as well with the Gone Girl vibe that is so popular right now.

The front of the book even says “Secrets can pull you under.”

Don’t You Cry by Mary Kubica – I added this book to my cart without even reading the synopsis of it. I didn’t care. I love Mary Kubica who also wrote another one of my favorite books, The Good Girl. Tagline on the book says, “Mary Kubica returns with an electrifying and addictive tale of deceit and obsession.” I bet she does, girl. I’m in it.

The Weight of Lies by Emily Carpenter – This is another book that was suggested by Amazon that I wasn’t actually actively looking for. It is supposedly about a young woman who starts investigating the true crime story that inspired her mother’s novel. It’s kind of a suspenseful, family drama type novel – not Gone Girl esc at all. I know y’all. Not like me at all. But we shall give it a go.
